The Louie
The Story
The Louie – Lansing : Boji Group is proud to announce, “The Louie”. After being awarded the purchase of the Billie S. Farnum Building for $4.5 million in 2018, Boji Group is renaming the building to “The Louie” in honor of our Chairman, Louie Boji.
Working closely with the MEDC, the City of Lansing, Lansing City council and local agencies to secure an approved brownfield plan, Boji Group has laid out plans for $20 million in renovations to the building. The anticipated completion of the renovations is Q3 of 2021, yet the building will be ready for occupancy by businesses in late-2020. Boji Group will also work to honor the building’s historical significance in downtown Lansing and retain features of the structure.
The Boji Group have been fantastic to work with, helping us find offices that fit our needs and working with us through the design process to ensure they were exactly what we needed. We’re incredibly excited about relocating our Lansing headquarters to The Louie, with great views in the heart of downtown, and managed by a firm that provides great tenant services.

The Results
i. The renovated space is leasing quickly. We are very excited to welcome, the law firm Dickinson Wright who occupied their newly renovated two floors in November of 2020. Followed by a West Michigan lobbying group occupying their two floors in March 2021, and public relations firm Truscott Rossman, occupying one floor in April 2021. Lastly excited to announce AARP who will occupy their 1 floor in January 2022.
